This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and LineSpotting AB (“LineSpotting”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in Sweden, governing your download, installation, and use of our mobile applications and related software (the “Apps”).
By downloading, installing, or using any App, you agree to this EULA and to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Apps.
1. License grant
Subject to this EULA, LineSpotting grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use each App on devices that you own or control, solely for your personal (or internal organisational) lawful use, and solely as permitted by the applicable app store terms (including Apple’s App Store and Google Play).
2. License restrictions
Except as allowed by mandatory law, you may not:
- copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of an App;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code;
- rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer an App;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices;
- use an App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of our Terms of Service; or
- circumvent any technical protection or access-control measure.
3. Ownership
The Apps and all intellectual property rights in them remain the property of LineSpotting AB or its licensors. This EULA does not transfer ownership of any App or related IP to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
4. App stores and third parties
Apps are made available through third-party stores (such as the Apple App Store and Google Play). Your use of those stores is subject to their terms. Where required (for example under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement rules), the store operator is a third-party beneficiary of this EULA and may enforce it. LineSpotting, not the store operator, is solely responsible for the Apps and their content, except as the store’s own terms provide.
5. In-app purchases and subscriptions
Some Apps offer paid features, one-time purchases, or auto-renewable subscriptions. Billing, payment method, renewals, refunds, and cancellation are handled by the applicable app store and are governed by that store’s policies and the purchase terms shown at checkout. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID, Google Play, or store account settings. Unless required by law or store policy, fees are non-refundable.
6. Updates
We may provide updates, patches, or new versions of an App. Updates may be required for continued use. We do not guarantee that we will continue to support any particular device, OS version, or feature.
7. User content and data
If an App lets you create or store content, you remain responsible for that content. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Additional product rules may appear in the Terms of Service.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Apps are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Nothing in this EULA excludes rights that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LineSpotting AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Apps. Our total liability for any claim relating to an App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for that App (or the relevant subscription period) in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or fifty euros (€50) if you paid nothing. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
10. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights end automatically if you breach it. You may stop using and uninstall the Apps at any time. On termination you must cease all use and destroy all copies in your possession. Sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimer, liability, and governing law) will survive.
11. Changes
We may update this EULA from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of an App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised EULA.
12. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of Sweden have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law allows you to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
